Aaliyah Crump is on the move again.

The state's highest-ranked high school girls basketball recruit in the Class of 2025 announced on her Instagram account that she is transferring to Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla. The 6-1 Minnetonka guard has climbed to No. 4 in the nation in her class in ESPN's HoopGurlz rankings

"We are thrilled to have her," Montverde coach Matt Shewmake said. "She is a worker who wants to be pushed. She is among the most skilled players in the country. Her passing ability is second to none, and she always plays the right way. I'm glad she is on our team."

It will be Crump's third high school program in five years. She played at Hopkins as an eighth-grader.

Crump announced last month she would play college basketball with the Texas Longhorns.

"We wish her the best of luck," Minnetonka coach Brian Cosgriff said after Crump committed. "She is going to be competing against the best in the country. We are grateful for the time she gave us. She left a nice mark on our program."

Crump helped Minnetonka (29-2) to the Class 4A championship last season with a 64-56 victory over Hopkins. She led the Skippers with 23 points in the final.

She averaged 24.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game and made the Star Tribune's All-Metro first team. She played for All Iowa Attack on the AAU circuit this summer. The previous summer, Crump was a member of the U.S. under-16 team that won the gold medal at the 2023 FIBA Americas championship in Merida, Mexico.
