College highlights: Averaged 20.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in his three seasons with the Gophers. Had seven 30-point games. His No. 14 is retired by the school and hangs in Williams Arena.
NBA highlights: Fourth overall pick in the 1966 NBA draft. Six-time All-Star. Tops among all former Gophers in NBA points scored. Scored 57 points for the Atlanta Hawks against the Chicago Bulls on Nov. 10, 1969. His No. 23 is retired by the Hawks.
