Expressions Community Theater is auditioning actors for a play at the Lakeville Area Arts Center.

"A Month of Sundays," by Bob Larbey, is a comedy set in a rest home for the elderly. It revolves around a feisty character named "Cooper," who's voluntarily left his family to avoid the indignity of depending on them.

Auditions will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20695 Holyoke Av. in Lakeville. Actors should prepare a one-minute comedic monologue and bring a current photo. "Cold reads" from the script also will be requested.

Actors are needed to portray two men in their late 60s, two women and one man in their 40s, and a woman in her 20s to 30s. Also needed are a stage manager, a prop director and stage hands. Performances are scheduled for Aug. 8-10 and 15-17.
