ABC's hit reality series "The Bachelor" will return in 2019 for its 23rd season, but first, the show needs to find singles who are willing to fall in love while America watches.

The network is holding a casting call June 30 at the Mall of America from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Atrium on the north side of the first floor.

Until now, Minnesota has been seen as flyover land in the eyes of "Bachelor" producers. As far as we can tell, this is the first time a casting call has been held in the state.

The current "Bachelorette," Becca Kufrin, is from Prior Lake and shined a light on the Twin Cities last season when she was chosen by "Bachelor" Ari Luyendyk Jr, then later dumped for the runner up.

Kufrin was then chosen to star as "The Bachelorette" in the current season, which launched May 29.

Producers are looking for men and women who are at least 21 years of age. Applicants must have a passport valid for one year following the submission of their application.
