There are bigger, hipper and certainly newer places to buy vinyl, but there aren't any better than Hymie's Vintage Records. Owners Laura and Dave Hoenack — a couple young enough to have grown up on CDs — took over the shop in 2009 and moved it to a more workable space just as the resurgence of vinyl set in. Their timing was as good as their inventory.
