The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which includes the Radisson and Country Inns & Suites brands, reported on Thursday 2014 revenue of $7.8 billion, a 4 percent increase over the previous year.
The hotel group, a division of Minnetonka-based Carlson, also reported 57 new hotel openings and a 16 percent increase in available rooms last year.
Carlson Chief Operating Officer David Berg said the group is "growing and strengthening" its hotel portfolio with "development momentum, revenue increases and two new brands."
Last year, Carlson Rezidor launched the Radisson Red concept aimed at millennial travelers and the Quorvus Collection of luxury hotels for global travelers.
The company said it has 271 hotels under development, with the largest presence in Africa, India, Russia and Turkey.
The Carlson Rezidor Group also includes the growing Radisson Blu chain and Park Inn and Park Plaza.
