Casey Common is an editor for the Minnesota Star Tribune's website, working with almost any kind of news. He edits the homepage, coordinates email newsletters and writes for the Twitter and Facebook feeds.


Common has been at the the Minnesota Star Tribune since 2001. Before joining the online staff, he served as a suburban editor and a senior copy editor who supervised the production of our Business section. He was also the first "voice" behind the the Minnesota Star Tribune's Twitter feed back in 2010-11. Common grew up in Apple Valley and graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. When not on the job, he's a fan of the Twins, the Lynx and, of course, the Northwestern Wildcats. He lives in St. Paul.
