Devean George: the athlete

Hometown player: Played basketball at Benilde-St. Margaret's and was recruited to play at Augsburg College. Named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player twice (1997-98 and 1998-99). Finished his college career with 2,258 points and 868 rebounds.

Three titles, three teams: Los Angeles Lakers, 1999-2006 (seven seasons), won three NBA championships; Dallas Mavericks, 2006-2009 (three seasons); Golden State Warriors .2009-2010 (one season).
