Chip Scoggins: Sidney Rice on Favre I had a chance to talk to wide receiver Sidney Rice the other day. Here is some of what he said:

Q What is your reaction to all the Favre speculation?

A I really don't know anything about it. I'm just focusing on what I'm doing right now. We have our three quarterbacks right now in Tarvaris, Sage and JD. We have our OTAs starting next week so basically we're just focusing on that. We're not listening to what's going on out there. ... Whatever we say is not going to have an effect on what our owners and our coaches think. We just try and focus on the things we have to do to better ourselves.

Michael Russo: Pieces in Houston Houston Aeros head coach Kevin Constantine breaks down the talent on the Wild's AHL club: "I think there's pieces here. I really do. I'm still a believer in [Benoit] Pouliot because I see talent and improvement. I just think sometimes in pro sports we're not allowed to be patient, so sometimes it's like now or never. But I think the guy's going to be a good player. ... [Justin] Falk, in the third [period Wednesday], looked like a very big, strong, calm defenseman. [Maxim] Noreau turned into a good defenseman. I don't think the main future of the Wild are here, but I think there's a lot of pieces here."
