An Eagan provider of custom information, communications and data technology has integrated its companies under the corporate name of ConvergeOne.
The company makes sure that phone, e-mail, other online communication and data needs of a company work smoothly. It was formed in 2005 as a holding company to acquire a company called NACR. Since then, the company has made more than a dozen acquisitions in various voice, data, communications and consulting industries.
The companies had operated under various names, such as Spanlink and Sunturn.
ConvergeOne is a vendor of solutions and services from Avaya, Cisco, IBM, Interactive Intelligence and Microsoft.
"No customer has the exact same needs. That's where we come in," said Mark Langanki, chief technology officer of ConvergeOne. "We have experience in the most complex IT environments, and we understand the business challenges that our customers face."
ConvergeOne Holdings Corp. is owned by a Santa Monica, Calif., private investment group, Clearlake Capital Group. It has 1,200 employees nationwide, including 133 in Eagan, and serves more than 5,500 customers.
ConvergeOne began integrating its acquisitions 18 months ago, organizing them around five core service areas: contact center solutions; unified communications and collaboration; data center and virtualization; security services; and enterprise networking.
"Now that we've combined everything together it allows us to bring the best solution to our client." Langanki said.
