An elderly woman was found dead inside her Crystal home Saturday after firefighters battled a fire that engulfed the house.
The Crystal Police Department said in a news release that officers and members of the West Metro Fire-Rescue District arrived at the house, in the 5700 block of Quail Avenue N., at about 12:45 p.m.
Officials said they believed the fire was accidental, but the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
