Former Gophers diver Sarah Bacon won the women's 3-meter title Wednesday at the USA Diving national championships, earning a berth in that event at this summer's world championships.
Bacon, who won five NCAA titles with the Gophers from 2018-22, defended her title on the 3-meter board at the championships in Morgantown, W. Va. She won the women's synchronized 3-meter title earlier in the meet, teaming with Kassidy Cook to earn a place at the world championships in that event.
