The Lynx (3-0) are playing their third consecutive road game since opening the season with a 95-76 victory over the Mercury at Target Center. The Lynx are coming off a 78-71 victory at Seattle on Sunday. Phoenix (0-3) has lost its past two games by a total of five points — at Indiana by four and to Seattle by one at home Sunday.
Players to watch: Lynx F Maya Moore had 17 points and nine rebounds in the victory in Seattle. G Lindsay Whalen scored 14 points against Seattle to move into 14th place on the WNBA career scoring list with 4,882 points. Mercury G Diana Taurasi, who sat out the 2015 WNBA season, is leading the league in scoring (24.3 points per game). C Brittney Griner, who scored 19 against Seattle, is averaging 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Numbers: The Lynx were 0-3 in Phoenix during the 2015 regular season before winning a first-round playoff game there. The Mercury's 81-80 loss to Seattle on Friday was only the third in their past 23 home games against Western Conference foes.
