Greg Mees is an award-winning journalist and senior editor at the Star Tribune where he oversees the design and multiplatform editing teams while also coordinating planning, production and strategic transformation efforts across the newsroom. Greg is the chair of the Society for News Design's international Creative Competition which recognizes excellence in visual journalism across the world. His work has previously appeared in the Denver Post and Boston Globe. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University's journalism program where he studied broadcast journalism, computer mediated communication and Spanish. There, Greg also worked as the editor in chief and visual managing editor of the university's independent, daily, student-run newspaper, the Rocky Mountain Collegian.
