Visitation rolled to its 10th straight girls Class 1A swimming and diving state title with 253 points Saturday.
The Blazers had just one individual winner but placed at least one athlete in the top five in seven of the other 11 events at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota.
Virginia holds the record for consecutive girls swimming state titles with 12 from 1930 to 1941, before the Minnesota State High School League began sponsoring girls swimming in 1975.
Katie Miller paced the Blazers with a win in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:03.22. The Blazers had eight other athletes finish in the top five of their races.
Catherine Dueck of Mound Westonka-Holy Family (200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke), Adalynn Biegler of Monticello (50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle) and Orono's 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay teams won multiple events.
Breck (200-yard medley relay), Graycin Andreen of Orono (200-yard freestyle), Alayna Kennedy of Austin (1-meter diving), Carly Bixby of Blake (100-yard butterfly) and Piper Crosby of Breck (100-yard backstroke) also won titles.
