Fans of classic animation are in for a treat with the release of "Porky Pig 101" (Warner Archive), an unprecedented five-disc set that traces the pantsless porcine punster's path from 1935 to 1943. About half of the 101 theatrical shorts have never been released previously in any video format, which means they've been unseen since edited TV airings more than 50 years ago. These unexpurgated cartoons are aimed at adult collectors. Fittingly, 13 can be watched along with insightful commentary.
Coming Tuesday
• "Cult of Chucky"
• "The Farthest: Voyager in Space"
• "A Ghost Story"
• "Superman: The Movie" (extended cut)
