"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" takes the familiar trappings of Harry Potter and runs with them — from the U.K. to the U.S.
Eddie Redmayne stars as a British magizoologist who journeys to 1926 New York to research and rescue magical beasts, only to become a target for dark forces. Among a fine cast that also includes Katherine Waterston and Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler is an absolute delight as a No-Maj (the American word for Muggles) who gets swept up in the pre-Potter wizarding world.
Tuesday's Blu-ray and DVD offer loads of extras, including deleted scenes.
Also out Tuesday
"Handmaiden," "A Monster Calls," "Patriots Day," "Planet Earth II," "Silence," "20th Century Women," "Why Him?"
