We know how it turns out, but that doesn't make "Sully" — out Tuesday — any less gripping.
Tom Hanks stars as the pilot dealing with the aftermath of the "Miracle on the Hudson," when a US Airways jet was forced to land on the New York river in 2009 after a collision with a flock of birds took out both engines. All 155 people aboard survived.
Among the extras on the DVD and Blu-ray (Warner, $29-$45), the real Capt. Chesley Sullenberger, his co-pilot and the air traffic controller recount each moment of the brief flight before its emergency landing, along with actual cockpit recordings. It's absolutely harrowing.
