1. How to place an In Memoriam ad back to top
   • In Memoriam announcements may be placed by phone, fax, email (paidobits@startribune.com).
2. Required information back to top
   • Your phone number, name and address; date or dates to publish. Prepayment is required for all In Memoriams. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express.
   • *We will take your payment information over the phone after we have received your approval to publish at the cost quoted.
3. Suggested format for an In Memoriam back to top
   1. Name
   2. Date of Birth
   3. Date of Death
   • A personal message, poem or remembrance, with a closing from the person or persons placing the memorial is very common. Ask about available emblems, borders and photo options.
4. Adding a photo or graphic back to top
   • Electronic submission of photos and/or text may be emailed to paidobits@startribune.com — Photos should be high quality .JPG or .TIF format (minimum 200 dpi), preferably cropped in a square shape.
5. Information on rates back to top
   • The cost for In Memoriams is $7.10 per line (3—line minimum) to publish one day in all editions. To publish the same notice additional days, the price is $3.55 per line per day. Online memorials remain on our website for 30 days from date of publication.
