A two-car collision at a Sherburne County intersection Wednesday morning left one driver dead and the other injured, officials said.
The crash occurred about 7:40 a.m. in Big Lake Township at Hwy. 10 and NW. 172nd Street, the State Patrol said.
A westbound Ford Fusion being driven by 25-year-old Blake Allen Seraaj, of Elk River, collided in the intersection with a Nissan Altima with 40-year-old Danielle Ellen Hayes, of Big Lake, behind the wheel, the patrol said.
Both drivers were hospitalized. Hayes died, and Seraaj sustained non-critical injuries, according to the patrol.
