The presidential race in Minnesota will heat up this week amid a series of campaign stops by the candidates and their surrogates.
Former Second Lady Jill Biden is scheduled to campaign in Minnesota on Saturday, making her second stop in the state for her husband, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The Biden campaign released no further details.
Biden's visit follows that of President Donald Trump, who has already announced events in the Twin Cities and Duluth on Wednesday. It will be Trump's seventh visit to Minnesota since taking office.
Jill Biden campaigned in Minnesota earlier this month ahead of her husband's visit to a union hall outside Duluth. It was the candidate's first visit to Minnesota since winning the Democratic nomination in August.
Eric Trump, the president's second son, is scheduled to hold an event Thursday in Becker, Minn.
Joe Biden's running mate, California U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, is scheduled to address a virtual gathering of the DFL's annual Humphrey-Mondale dinner Thursday evening.
Early voting has been underway in Minnesota since Sept. 18.
