John Nguyen

John Nguyen is a reporter for the Star Tribune features department. Born and raised on the East Side of St. Paul, he is interested in local Minnesota stories with national resonances.


A graduate of Yale University, John is a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and is headed to Vietnam in 2024-25 to teach English. He is more a poet than a journalist, but don't tell his boss.
