A 10-year-old girl who had been missing for four days from her foster-care home in north Minneapolis has been been found and is safe.

The Minneapolis Police Department posted an update Sunday afternoon its Facebook page, saying the girl was no longer missing. Family members, police and investigators with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) had been searching for the girl since Thursday morning, when she was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts, police said.

Investigators are working to develop a chronology of what occurred, the Department said in a news release.

"Thank you for all your help and shares!" the Department said on Facebook. "Still working on details, but Majesti has been found safe."

The girl's foster home is on the 1500 block of N. Queen Avenue in Minneapolis. The girl is familiar with the 1600 block of N. Thomas Avenue, police said.
