Wild at Columbus Blue Jackets

Saturday, 6 p.m., Nationwide Arena

TV; radio: BSN; 100.3 FM

Wild update: The Wild recalled D Daemon Hunt from Iowa in the American Hockey League. His addition gives the team seven defensemen in the absence of D Jared Spurgeon, who won't travel to Columbus with the Wild as he rests a lower-body injury related to his back and hip surgeries earlier this year. C Ryan Hartman didn't practice on Friday because of an upper-body injury. Hartman is considered day-to-day and could be a game-time decision on Saturday. D Jonas Brodin did return to practice after missing Thursday's session.

Blue Jackets update: Like the Wild, Columbus isn't at full strength but is still finding ways to win. The Wild were known for their dynamic offense when Dean Evason coached them, and Evason has previewed a high-scoring system with the Blue Jackets. Twice they've racked up six goals in a game, and each time they had six different players score. Columbus improved to 2-2 after upending Buffalo 6-4 on Thursday. Two nights earlier, the Blue Jackets had an emotional home opener that honored Johnny Gaudreau after he and his brother Matthew were killed during the off-season after they were struck by a vehicle while riding bikes.

Injuries: Spurgeon (lower body) is out, and Hartman (upper body) is questionable. Blue Jackets C Gavin Brindley (broken finger), D Erik Gudbranson (upper body), C Boone Jenner (shoulder), C Kent Johnson (upper body), G Elvis Merzlikins (upper body) and LW Dmitri Voronkov (upper body) are out. RW Yegor Chinakov (lower body) is probable.
