Crayfish, an invasive species of freshwater crustaceans in Minnesota, are destroying lakes by eating fish eggs and underwater cabbages that produce oxygen. Smack Shack hopes to bring awareness to the public about the invasive species, while having some messy fun in the process. The final round of the Crayfest eating competition takes place at Crayfest on Saturday, August 5.
