Minnesota, which wasn't able to add any starting pitching help at the trade deadline, could be leaning more than ever on young arms at a crucial point in its season.

Tim Walz, who this week became the Democrat nominee for Vice President, was an assistant coach on the 1999 squad that won the Class 4A state title. Sutton recalls the history of that team and what Walz was like as a coach.
