POSSIBILITIES FOR THE VIKINGS AT PICK NO. 23

Josh Doctson, WR, TCU: At 23, he isn't the youngest prospect. But he has height and the skills to go up and get the ball, something the Vikings really need in their offense.

Reggie Ragland, MLB, Alabama: They already have a pair of quality, young linebackers on the roster, but this solid run-stuffer could help their 17th-ranked run defense.

Andrew Billings, NT, Baylor: The Vikings have one of the NFL's best nose tackles in Linval Joseph, but they could groom Billings the next few years to eventually replace him.

Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State: Another 23-year-old wideout, the 6-3 Thomas has the size and potential to become a No. 1 receiver in the NFL.

T.J. Green, S, Clemson: A rangy safety who ran a 4.34-second 40-yard dash, Joseph could be the "right" kind of safety coach Mike Zimmer wants to pair with Harrison Smith.

Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State: Three-year starter played both tackle spots for the Spartans and might have the tools to play on the left side in the pros.

Laquon Treadwell, WR, Mississippi: His gruesome leg injury in 2014 might give some teams pause, but he bounced back to post a productive 2015 season.

Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State: Might project more as a right tackle type, but Decker plays with an edge, which Zimmer likes in a lineman.
