RandBall: Larry Fitzgerald Jr. on Favre Michael Rand had a chance to speak with Cardinals WR and Minneapolis native Larry Fitzgerald Jr. for a Q&A (coming Sunday on this page). Fitzgerald said this about the possibility of Brett Favre playing for the Vikings:
"Brett Favre in Purple? C'mon, man. That's just nasty. I mean, he tortured me as a child. He sent me to school on many Mondays just upset and messed up my whole weekend. ... He hurt my heart so many times, that to see him in purple would almost be like a slap in the face. Just a little bit. If he started winning some games for the Vikings, then I'd probably jump on the bandwagon, too."

Jerry Zgoda: Wolves GM search update Just a day after I believed the Wolves had narrowed their search to former Indiana GM David Kahn, Glen Taylor and Rob Moor apparently continue it anew. ... What seems certain is this will go into the weekend. I heard Thursday evening Taylor and Moor are cooling on one candidate the more they learn about him. Sure sounds to me like that could be Kahn, whom without a doubt the owner and team CEO were very serious about. Randy Pfund has remained quiet since he called me back Saturday, and I haven't heard that he's out, so I'd say he's still a possibility.
