An 81-year-old man died Saturday morning after crashing his motorcycle into a ditch in Arendahl Township, according to the the Minnesota State Patrol.
The deceased rider was identified as Noel Alan Luedtke, of Rochester.
Luedtke was eastbound on Hwy. 30, at mile marker 258.5, when his motorcycle went off the road to the right and entered a ditch, the State Patrol said in its report.
He was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not involved, according to the report. Luedtke was traveling on a 2011 Harley-Davidson Crusier.
The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, Rushford Fire Department and Rushford's ambulance service responded, according to the report.
