OMAHA – Tomas Telis had a two-run single and Drew Maggi hit a solo home run to lead the St. Paul Saints to a 3-1 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Saturday at Werner Park.
The victory was the sixth in the past seven games for the Saints (37-33).
The Saints trailed 1-0 in the sixth, until Maggi tied the score with his 11th home run of the season. Telis broke the tie with a one-out single up the middle in the seventh.
Lefthander Jovani Moran pitched two scoreless innings for his first save in Class AAA. Moran started the season with Class AA Wichita.
