The Sonics, Suicide Commandos and more at First Avenue

Tacoma, Wash., garage rock legends the Sonics made their Minneapolis debut March 1 at First Avenue on a bill that included a host of fellow travelers, including local punk pioneers the Suicide Commandos and Curtiss A, and the long-overdue return of Florida-based but Minnesota-beloved roots-rocker Charlie Pickett.
