I must say
"Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving" offers up a feast of classic clips revolving around the holiday, including "Adam Sandler's Turkey Song," "Ed Grimley's Thanksgiving" and "Greetings From Tonto, Tarzan and Frankenstein," some of the silliest — and most effective — skits in the show's long history. 8 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11
Whale of a tale
Before Ron Howard can weigh in on his feature film about the true story that inspired "Moby Dick" comes "The Whale: Revenge From the Deep," a movie starring Martin Sheen as Old Thomas Nickerson, a former cabin boy reminiscing about the sinking of a whaling ship, the Essex. 8 p.m. Animal Planet
Gobble, gobble, gulp!
"When Turkeys Attack" is just what the title suggests: home movies of people being terrorized by some of the creatures who seem to have a sixth sense that folks might want to have them over for Thanksgiving for all the wrong reasons. I'm staying tuned for the inevitable sequel, "When Mashed Potatoes Attack." 9 p.m. Destination America
