The Twins released relief pither Matt Guerrier this morning and optioned pitcher Ryan Pressly, pitcher Michael Tonkin and catcher Chris Herrmann to Class AAA Rochester.
Nonrostered players sent to minor-league camp were left-handed pitchers Matt Hoffman and Aaron Thomspon, right-handed pitcher Deolis Guerra, outfielder Wilkin Ramirez, and infielders Doug Bernier and Deibinson Romero.
The Twins have 29 players in their major-league camp, including 13 pitchers, three catchers, seven infielders and six outfielders. The regular seasons next Monday in Chicago against the White Sox.
