Two men were injured by gunfire early Saturday in downtown Minneapolis.
An off-duty officer heard shots around 3:15 a.m. on the 300 block of First Avenue North, where the officer found two men with wounded legs, according to Minneapolis Police Department. The officer provided medical care, and other First Precinct officers responded, until paramedics arrived to transport the victims to Hennepin County Medical Center.
No arrests have been made as of 11 a.m. Saturday, according to police spokeswoman Catherine Michal.
An investigation is ongoing. First Precinct officers are reviewing video footage from the surrounding area and asking community members for more information.
