• NORTH DAKOTA 11, MICHIGAN TECH 2: Jason Gregoire had three goals and an assist as the top-ranked Sioux (26-8-3, 21-6-1 WCHA) ended the regular season by crushing the last-place Huskies (4-28-4, 2-24-2) on Saturday night in Houghton, Mich. The teams meet again next weekend in Grand Forks, N.D., in the first round of the WCHA playoffs. Brett Hextall had two goals and two assists for the Sioux, who went 8-0-1 in their final nine games to win the regular-season championship.• NEBRASKA-OMAHA 5, MINNESOTA DULUTH 2: Terry Broadhurst scored two goals Saturday as the Mavericks (21-13-2, 16-9-2 WCHA) beat the host Bulldogs (20-9-6, 15-8-5), temporarily taking second place. Denver's victory later Saturday bumped UNO to the No. 3 seed in the WCHA playoffs. Jack Connolly assisted on both UMD goals and finished the regular season with a league-leading 51 points.

• ALASKA ANCHORAGE 4, MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 1: Tommy Grant had two goals and Chris Kamal sparkled in nets for the second night in a row as the Seawolves (14-17-3, 11-15-2) swept the host Mavericks (14-16-6, 8-16-4). One night after making 35 saves in a 4-0 shutout, Kamal made 31 stops and kept the Mavs scoreless on six power plays.

• DENVER 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 2: Sam Brittain made 33 saves, Drew Shore scored his 22nd goal of the season and the host Pioneers (21-10-5, 17-8-3) clinched second place in the WCHA by beating the Huskies (15-16-5, 11-13-4). Shore broke a 1-1 tie, and Kyle Ostrow made it 3-1 with a shorthanded goal early in the third period.

• WISCONSIN 3, COLORADO COLLEGE 1: Craig Smith, Patrick Johnson and Justin Schultz scored as the Badgers (20-14-4, 12-14-3) ended their seven-game winless streak by defeating the Tigers (19-16-3, 13-13-2) in Madison, Wis. The teams will meet again next weekend in the playoffs in Colorado Springs.
