Enter 'Uncharted' territory
Whiling away the hours with the "Uncharted" series, it's often hard to remember whether you're playing a video game or a movie. Developer Naughty Dog puts as much emphasis on storytelling as it does action. Its three games starring modern-day swashbuckler Nathan Drake — "Drake's Fortune," "Among Thieves" and "Drake's Deception" — are revered as being among the best ever released for the PlayStation 3 console. Now, those flagship titles have been revamped and gathered as "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" ($60; rated Teen) for the PlayStation 4. Gone are the multiplayer options, but no one plays these games for their online features. They play them to experience vicariously the treasure-hunting adventures of one of Sony's greatest heroes. With three legendary games for the price of one, this is a no-brainer.
