Mega Man collected
There's something gloriously incongruous about playing a classic 8-bit game on the latest high-def consoles. "Mega Man Legacy Collection" (Capcom, $15) collects all six Mega Man adventures, originally released in 1987-93 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and spruces them up for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those new to the Blue Bomber can start from the beginning (and restart again and again with each defeat), while vets can try a new challenge mode that mashes up levels from across the series. A Museum Mode houses high-res production art and dozens of tunes. It's available now for download; a physical disc is planned for next year at twice the price.
