Vikings cornerback Akayleb Evans will play through an oblique strain that limited him in practices this week and had him listed questionable entering Monday night's game against the 49ers.
Evans has dealt with oblique and knee injuries in the past couple weeks, suffering the most recent injury during last week's win against the Bears. He'll start a seventh straight game against a potent San Francisco offense.
The Vikings won't have left guard Ezra Cleveland, who suffered a midfoot sprain in the fourth quarter at Chicago and did not practice this week. Guard Dalton Risner, who signed in September, will make his first start for the Vikings.
Receiver Trishton Jackson and outside linebacker Luiji Vilain were elevated from the practice squad and will be available against the 49ers. Receiver Jalen Nailor (hamstring) won't play after returning to practice this week. Nailor was listed questionable, but remains on injured reserve.
Safety Lewis Cine, the 2022 first-round pick, is a healthy scratch for the second straight week. He was not on the injury report and has not played since the Sept. 24 loss to the Chargers, when he suffered a hamstring strain.
The 49ers will be without receiver Deebo Samuel and left tackle Trent Williams due to injuries. Running back Christian McCaffrey (oblique) and linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring), listed questionable, are active and available for San Francisco.
Vikings' inactives: Cleveland (foot), Cine, OLB Andre Carter II, CB NaJee Thompson, TE Nick Muse and OL Hakeem Adeniji
49ers' inactives: Williams, Samuel, DL Kalia Davis, QB Brandon Allen, TE Brayden Willis, RB Tyrion Davis-Price and LB Jalen Graham
