Wild update: RW Mats Zuccarello sat out Tuesday's loss in Ottawa because of an upper-body injury, but practiced Wednesday. Coach Dean Evason said Zuccarello's return wasn't a guarantee. LW Jordan Greenway (upper-body injury) didn't practice. The Wild recalled F Mason Shaw from Iowa. RW Nick Bjugstad, who has three assists over the past two games, skated in Greenway's spot alongside C Joel Eriksson Ek and RW Marcus Foligno. D Matt Dumba (lower-body injury) is not on the four-game Canadian road trip.

Maple Leafs update: Like the Wild, Toronto was in action on Tuesday and fell 4-3 in overtime at Columbus. That was the Maple Leafs' third consecutive loss, a skid in which they've allowed 15 goals. C Auston Matthews ranks second in the NHL in goals with 34. LW Michael Bunting's 17 goals are tied for the most among rookies. Toronto's 18 wins at home are the second most in the Eastern Conference.
