Wild update: LW Marcus Johansson took a maintenance day on Saturday and didn't practice. He's probable to play vs. Toronto. D Jake Middleton also didn't practice, as he and his wife Natalie are awaiting the birth of their child. Middleton is expected to play on Sunday. During a career-long, five-game point streak, Middleton has a goal and six assists.

Maple Leafs update: This is the second half of a back-to-back for Toronto. The Maple Leafs started their road trip on Saturday night with a 4-2 loss at St. Louis. Before that game, they'd won two in a row after dropping three straight and four out of five games. Toronto swept the Wild last season, winning on home ice (7-4) and when the two teams faced off in Stockholm (4-3 in overtime). C Auston Matthews has 15 points in 12 career games vs. the Wild.

Injuries: Maple Leafs C Connor Dewar (shoulder), D Jani Hakanpää (knee), C Calle Järnkrok (lower body) and D Dakota Mermis (jaw) are out.
