With heavy rains expected to come down on Thursday, the X Games announced that its opening competition will move to tonight.
The Skateboard Vert qualifier was scheduled for Thursday. Instead it happens at 8 p.m. tonight at U.S. Bank Stadium. It is closed to the public.
The remaining Thursday events will run as scheduled — Skateboard vert final at 9 p.m., followed by the BMX Vert final at 10:15 p.m. Both will be televised on ESPN.
Thursday's competitions are free.
The X Games run through Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
