A self-proclaimed "List Maker to the Stars," Melissa spends her days coordinating calendars, sorting through press releases and combing the internet for a variety of events for Twin Citians to occupy themselves in their free time for the Minnesota Star Tribune and Vita.mn entertainment calendars. In rare, spare moments, she writes stories and book reviews.

"A St. Paul native, Walsh lives in Roseville with his wife and cat. He has two adult children and a new granddaughter. He graduated from the College of St. Thomas, where he was named the top journalism graduate by the Society of Professional Journalists, before beginning his career with stops at the Mankato Free Press and the Rochester Post-Bulletin. Walsh has covered local government, local schools, local and federal courts and even spent some time writing about farming and medical technology. A former college football player and semi-pro coach, he enjoys reading history and following the Vikings, Gophers and Tommies.

Hamse Warfa has been a leader in federal and state government as well as in philanthropy and the private sector. He is the CEO of World Savvy, a Minneapolis-based global citizenship education organization. Before that, he served a Biden appointee to the U.S. State Department, where he served as a senior adviser. He was previously a deputy commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. At the time, he was the highest-ranking African immigrant official in the executive branch of Minnesota state government. His second book, "The Transformational Leader: Twelve Practices for Driving Lasting Change," will be published in September. He lives in a southern suburb of the Twin Cities.
