William Wyatt

Wyatt, William lifelong resident of Orono, MN, passed away at home on October 4, 2024. Bill was born in 1940 in Minneapolis; he graduated from Orono Schools and got a degree from St Cloud State University. After college he enlisted in the Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Captain. For over 30 years Bill was a DOD Contract Administrator for Honeywell and Alliant Tech with a reputation as an outstanding negotiator. Bill was a self-made man who loved his family, who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and who could fix anything. A true Minnesotan, he loved outdoor sports like sailing & iceboating, lutefisk dinners, and homemade pies. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years: Sara; son: Michael & fiancée Andrea Long; grandson: Sampson Hollander-Wyatt; brother: Bob Wyatt (Carol), sister-in-law: Judy Gildersleeve; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by daughter: Melissa, and sister-in-law: Judy Wyatt, and brother-in-law: John Gildersleeve. Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, October 26th at Trinity Lutheran Church, Long Lake. Visitation is one hour prior to services at 12pm with lunch to follow. Wyland, Richard C. Age 89, of St. Paul and White Bear Lake, passed away September 20, 2024. Private services at Elmhurst Cemetery in St. Paul, November 1, 2024, followed by a Celebration of Life Open House for family and friends 2-6 PM.
